Milestones
A short note when you or an alt does something for the first time: a new arena, a promotion, a new best. Never a move down, never the same moment twice.
The milestone email is the one Elixir email that is not on a weekly schedule. It arrives when the record shows something you did for the first time, and it is only ever about you.
Whose moments
Your primary player and your alts. A friend's or a watched player's moments go to Wednesday's Your friends this week instead, never here. When an alt's moment leads, the note names the alt; your own reads "You".
What counts

Firsts only
Each moment mails once, ever: the arena, the league, the band, the step, the card's form or the badge level is remembered for your account and that player, and the same moment never mails again. Climbing back into an arena you were already congratulated on is silent. A move down never mails.
When it comes
The record is checked every hour for moments it learned since the last check. Everything new rides in one email, so a good evening is one note, not five. If a check is missed (an outage, a failed send), the next one reads back to the last check that went through, up to a week, so a first can be late but is not lost. Moments come from the record as it is polled, usually within the hour of the battle.
What one email holds
The biggest moments lead, up to four of them: a new arena, a promotion, a new best or a legendary badge. A new arena and a promotion carry the battle that decided them when the record has it. With none of those, the first three of anything lead. The rest are listed under Also. The subject is the first headline, with how many more ride along.
Turning it off
Milestones is one switch on Profile ▸ Email, and every milestone email has a link to turn it off. The switch is for all your players at once. Turn an email off has the rest, and Email every other kind.
