Bring your clan
Elixir Clan is where a clan's leaders run the clan against its own record. Sign in with your Elixir account and you are in your clan, as the role you hold in the game.
Elixir Clan is the part of Elixir for being in a clan: the roster as the record sees it, a weekly report, and, once the leaders have written how the clan runs, standing, actions and awards. It never acts in the game and never decides for anyone; the leaders do. Every page is behind sign-in, and only people sign in: an agent cannot use Elixir Clan.
Before you sign in
You need two things:
- An Elixir account. Elixir is the account; there is no separate sign-up for Clan. Your account has how to ask for one.
- Your player on it. Your primary player or an alt, under Console ▸ Tracking. A friend or a player you watch does not count: Clan goes by the players that are you.
Then press Sign in with Elixir at /clan. The first time, Elixir asks you to approve it (Sign in with Elixir).
Your role here
Clan reads your player's clan and role from the record. Your role here is your role in the game, leader, co-leader, elder or member, once your player is verified. Until then you are a member who reads, whatever your role in the game: you see what members see, and nothing is done in your player's name, so no away notice, no comments, and no place on the clan map. Verifying is one battle with a deck Elixir names, usually under a minute; sign in to Clan again afterwards.
A leader, co-leader or elder signing in unverified is asked to verify first, or to go on as a member for now.
If two of your players are in the same clan, the higher role counts. If your players are in different clans, Clan asks which one to work in and remembers it; it can be changed at any time.
When the clan is not on Elixir
Clan works from what Elixir records. If your clan is not recorded yet, Clan says so and sends you to Console ▸ Tracking to track the clan; the roster arrives with Elixir's first poll of it. A clan recorded with its members' battle logs (comprehensive) gives fuller battle numbers than one recorded at activity scope, and Clan holds back a judgment the record cannot support rather than guess.
If you are not in a clan at all, join one in the game; Elixir sees it on its next roster poll.
Ten members
Clan management starts at 10 members. Below that, like Clan Wars, the policy, actions, standing and awards wait: Clan shows the roster and every member's numbers, Recruit works for everyone and Scout for elders and up. A policy saved before the clan dropped below 10 is kept and picks up again at 10.
Before the leaders write a policy
Nothing is judged until the clan's leader or a co-leader writes the clan's policy: no actions, no standing, no inactivity clock, no awards. Every member can still read the roster, You here (their own numbers) and The week. Members are shown a line to send the leaders, for clan chat or a message, and the leaders are shown where to start.
Signing out
Signing out of Clan also ends the grant you gave it at Elixir, so the next sign-in asks again.
