A verified player is yours alone
Verifying a player now protects it: once you have verified a player, no other account can add it as its primary player or an alt, on the console, through an agent or through the JSON API. They are told what the Verify page says: if that player is theirs, sign in to the account that verified it, or tell us through the feedback form. Following a verified player as a friend, or watching it, stays open to anyone.
If another account had already added the player as its primary or an alt before you verified it, that claim ends when your verification succeeds. Their timeline says so, naming the player and never your account, and if it was their primary they have none until they choose one; Tracking and the Overview say so. A signup that names a player someone else has verified opens the account on Tracking without it, and says why. MCP 11.11.4; JSON API 3.2.0 unchanged.
